User interface

Summary

In this section the user interface components of ReaConverter Pro are described.

The ReaConverter Pro navigation constructed as a wizard of 3 main steps: Step 1 - Select files, Step 2 - Choose actions, Step 3 - Specify save parameters.

Navigation through steps:

You can navigate through steps

• by clicking on appropriate tabs;
• using Main Menu > Operations > Step 1, Step 2 or Step3;
• using hot keys: Ctrl+F1 for Step 1, Ctrl+F2 for Step 2, Ctrl+F3 for Step 3.

Navigation at main menu:

The main menu navigates you through every main action:

Main Menu => File

• Open... - opens standard Windows application to open files. Opened files will be added to File List (Ctrl+O).
• Open File List - inputs your files to work on from saved .txt list
• Save File List - saves list of files added to File List to currently opened and using file list .txt file
• Save File List As...- saves list of files added to File List to the new .txt file

Main Menu => Script

• New Script - creates new script (image editing actions) - and saves the previous
• Open Script - opens saved image editing actions
• Save Script - adds image editing actions to currently opened and using script (Ctrl+S)
• Save Script As... - saves image editing actions to apply for your images later
• Set default script - saves the name of the current script to open the script next time you start the program

Main Menu => Settings

• Load Parameters... - loads saved parameters that includes saving parameters and test image
• Save Parameters As... - saves software parameters for the future use
• EMF/WMF loading settings... - sets settings for loading EMF and WMF files to convert
• EPS/PDF loading settings... - sets DPI resolution for loading EPS, PS and PDF files to convert
• RAW loading settings... - sets width, height, channel type and offset for loading RAW files to convert
• Priority settings... - sets the global priority of the program, changing the priority can make it run faster or slower but it can also adversely affect the performance of other programs.

Main Menu => Operations

• Step 1 Ctrl+F1 - Select files to work with
• Step 2 Ctrl+F2 - Create image editing script and test on sample image
• Step 3 Ctrl+F3 - Specify Save Parameters
• Start conversion F5 - Process your images

Main Menu => Languages

Choose from the list of available languages of the software interface or download it from web.

Main Menu => Help

• About - information about the license owner
• Help topics - help of the program (F1)
• ReaConverter Pro web page - home page with updates, support, forum, etc.
• Enter registration info - registration of the trial copy
